We’ve packed a massive amount of high altitude flavor into this little block of cheddar! For our Pepper Alpine cheddar, we infuse our classic aged cheddar with a ribbon black pepper that adds a wonderful savory flavor as well as a fantastic display when sliced.

When paired with our rich, creamy cheddar, the flavor profiles combine into a warm smoothness that keeps you reaching for just one more slice. The visual presentation of this cheese when sliced or shredded is hard to beat. Pepper Alpine is a favorite all year round, but there is just something so appealing about using this cheese in the coldest months of the year.

Don’t shy away from sweet pairings either. Fresh Strawberry or preserves are one of our favorite pairings for this cheese since the black pepper and sweet berries complement each other so well.

Looking for a beverage pairing? Black peppercorns draw out the background aromatics from a spirit, which makes for bolder flavors. Scotch and cocktails that use scotch will gain more depth from the pepper, which balances the peaty flavors in scotch.
